Stayed up until 12 studying yesterday and now I have no motivation whatsoever :/
You need sufficient rest to function properly. Try not to go full on - take baby steps, then slowly accumulate the amount of time allocated towards study. Additionally, take regular breaks (10 minutes for me) for every 1-2 hours.

After 4 hours, ones brain becomes inefficient due to a chemical called cortisol (which is released in times of stress).

Hence one should relax every 3 to 4 hours to let the brain restock its resources, much like how a car needs to refuel.

Am I only one that doesn't have exams right after the holidays.

I don't have half yearly exams.
