What do you mean by each UAI point? Per .05 increment or the whole 1 point?

Sikeveo says 21 get 99.95. Hard to believe, but I'll go with it.

It still beats me why people want to go there in the first place [dont say academic merit, because if all smart people went to another school, then that other school would be champing it]. fucking hole.

yer i wouldnt wanna go there in the first place, mainly because of the pressure and the comp u face wit every other student, my school isnt the smartest in the worldm its rankd pretty crap actually. but i rather be here den anywhere else, i have the best teachers here and have met some really koo people.

my english is way down there so i not sure about a 99+.. 90 maybe
anyhow, yea i am the type who aced hard tests and flunked easy onse. coz i juz dont take them srsly.

for the 2u, i got marks off for
1. draw a number plane instead of a number line (didnt read Q)
2. -10/5=-5 (caculators allowed)
3. read decreasing as increasing.. (donno how i did that)
4. first line wrote -2, second line became +2 for some reasons. @@

For yearly EXAMS; Maths 68/70 (Tied 2nd or 3rd, 120 guys doin test) // Economics 59/80 (God help me) // Eng Ad 35/45 (hmmmmm, I didnt like Mod A).

2005 rankings will come out some other day.

ext 1 maths yearly: 88.5%, 4/120, overall: 86% 4/120 (4 ppl equalled that)
2u maths: yearly: 98%,
chem: yearly 83% overall 10/58
phys: yearly 81% 5/70, overall: 6/70 (dropped from 5th )
adv eng: yearly 60%, overall 50% (woot! i pass eng!)
eco: yearly 61%, 14/50 overall 70.5% 17/50 (dropping eco..=.=')

oh well, aiming top 5 next year (except eng, anything above 20 is fine)

Does anyone know why we aren't allowed to receive our cumulative mark? From what I've heard we can get our cumulative rank, but not the mark...not even on our end-of-year report. I understand that we dont get raw marks in yr 12 because of scaling and band cut-offs etc, but surely these dont really apply in yr 11? It's frustrating trying to choose what subjects to drop if you only know a rank...I mean a 1st in one school could mean 80% and at another school 98%! Just seems a little silly to me, but perhaps someone here knows the real story...

Maths 2U - 80% (final rank 17/48)
Maths Ext1 - 48% (16/20)
Chemistry - 53% (not sure on the rank... top 10 probably)
Biology - 92% (1/50 something)
Legal Studies - 75% (no idea on my rank)
Adv English - 67% (final rank 10/48)
CAFS - 60% (didn't bother finding out my rank... dropping it)

Psychology was so bs lol, 50% of the class got 20/20 for the written part, one question asked to describe the processes that occur in dreams, i wrote that there were 5 dream stages separated by brief REM periods, when there are only supposed to be 4, and got 2/2 for that question It seemed the marking criteria was based on "filling the lines" lol, i go to STHS btw

Congratulations on that. Try to get that mak for 4 unit and you'll be fine.
