yet another media player problem (1 Viewer)

well... ive been using windows media player for some time without problems... lately (past week) whenever i load the player it freezes and displays the "not responding" message... i downloaded windows media player 10 to check if my player was corrupted and this does not seem to make a difference...

should i remove media player from my system completely then try re-installing it? or will that also remove all my music files?

please help...

unistalling and reinstalling the player will not delete your files.
