Did anybody achieve their desired UAI goal they set out at the beginning of this year? Even better, did anybody surpass their goal?
My goal was to achieve a UAI of around 88 to get into my combined business/engineering course at UTS. I did even better and achieved a UAI of 91.75!

The course I want was 80.5 last year, and I got 90.15 which goes up to 94.15 because of the local Uni deal. That's how I like it.

I surpassed my goal. I wanted 90+ (because I could do my subject with a UAI of 90) and I got 99.0. I'm so stoked.

Goal (ie mark to hold head high): 90
Dream(ie could be really proud instead of just happy): 95
What I am capable of: 99+
What I prepared myself for/what I thought: Mid-High-80s

And......
*drum roll*

What I got: 88.95
Feels kind of like jumping off a building and hoping to land on the other side but instead reaching out, groping and then grazing your fingertips on the bricks as you miss and tumble.... tumble.... lol

I could say that I really wish I had studied/put in some effort but I think in some ways I may not have gotten this far as my brain would have exploded into a gazillion pieces under the pressure, do wish that I had "performed" better though.

Luckily, my sister got the same UAI four years back and she was always deemed to have done really well in the HSC, though she did always claim she got 90.... standards are somewhat higher at our school now - new record this year: 98.7 and a 98.35 versus last years 98.55

It's all good :D

Same happened to me. My exam marks were absolutely foul in some areas. Especially Extension History (our topic was Thucydides...).

Thought: 96+
Wanted: 99.35+
School predicted: 96+
Got: 99.5

Thank God I reached my aim, I had all these signs stuck all over my house for motivation with '99.35' on them. But family kept coming over and commenting on it, so there was that added embarassment if I didn't make it (cause I honestly didn't think I would) cause everyone knew of my aim. Guess that was extra motivation to do well, but made me feel anxious all year.
