I was thinking of taking 15 units in each semester. Do you guys think that this is a good idea or should i just take it easy?

I enrolled today...
the academic advisor i spoke to strongly advised against doing 15cp in first semester, he said something along the longs of transition from high school to uni, and that I need a credit in stat171
Also when I told him my uai, he instantly said no :(

And that's bad? I'm the same and that means i get to party Fri, Sat and Sun. :D
I got basically all of my preferred classes. I bunched them all up, so i have alot of free time. On tues and wed (i think) i have like 5 classes straight.

here with stupid
15cp in first sem is better choice... much much much better because acst101 is easy n u can move it there. acst 101 is real annoying in 2nd semester

2nd sem for first yrs is hard... hahah suckas.. so u want less work load

that transition period thing from hs to uni is pretty bs... actuary is pretty hi UAI so u'd cope anyways... unless ur a bludger

Well, that's what people say when they get beaten! I know people who do nothing... and not at home, because they're out heaps.
That might be so, although i've yet to come across such a person other than myself. I tend to do near to nothing also but i don't really have a GPA of 4.0 or anything like that.

The trick is to bludge and graduate with a GPA of 4.0
I'm not sure if I've ever come across someone like that though.

Try actual ACST units, and you'll find it's much harder than ACCG to get D or HD. I mean actual ACST units. Not ACST101 (which is actually far far too easy!) and ACST201, which are open to everyone.
Actually i'm doing B-C acst single degree, and i'v got a D in acst151 and HD in acst211 but a Cr for accg100. How does everyone think abt 2yr or 3yr compare to 1yr?? :chainsaw:
