youth allowance rejection (1 Viewer)

i worked for 2 years as an Australian electrical apprentice after leaving year 12 being starting my degree this year. i recently applied for youth allowance as i earned over the $18k, i do not have a job now and i am studying full time.

the rejection letter says, " we cannot pay you youth allowance because the value of your assets are above the allowable limit"

but i dont have any assets? just a $4000 car?

do you have shitloads in your bank account?

get your parents to hold it in their account for you or some shit, i may or may not have done that

i gave them my last statement which i was gettin paid $600 per week so that could have been it. but i declared i didnt have a job now
