Hey guys,

First post here on BOS so please don't hate on me.

I need to write up a summary on the year 10 science modules given to us, and although I have done the majority there a few things that I haven't grasped yet. Could anyone please provide a summary for the points posted below

1. Describe cell processes that transfer genetic information from generation to generation during cell respiration
2. Identify the role of mitosis and cell differentiation during the production of new cells for growth and replacement of damaged cells
3. Identify the role of meiosis in producing specialised cells for reproduction
4. Explain why the same genetic information is not equally expressed in all cells
5. Explain the role of DNA in controlling cellular activity and producing proteins
6. Describe evidence to support the theory that genetic information is passed on from generation to generation
7. Compare the big bang theory with other theories of the development of the universe
8. Consider interactions between various features of the universe and hypotheses on past and future developments in the universe
9. Investigate the ways in which different societies have described changes in the universe observed over recorded time
10. Describe evidence used to support estimates of time in the universe
11. Relate some major features of the universe to theories about the formation of the universe
12. Describe some changes that are likely to take place during the life of a star
13. Relate colours of stars to their age, distance from the Earth and size
14. Explain why quasars have provided evidence of a changing universe
15. Discuss the impact of Voyager proves and the Hubble Space Telescope on knowledge and understanding of the universe:

Cheers,

P.S. These are a very little bit compared to the rest I have completed, I am not being lazy.

I think you might need to give a bit more insight as to what is confusing you for each question - taking a quick glance at what questions you have, some of them seem to be similar to a few dotpoints from year 12 science bio/phys, so try looking through some of the notes on this site and then ask some more specific questions? You're more likely to get answers for them :)
