You can do maths 135 and maths 136 for people who did 3U maths in high school. Anyways, most of us forget ALL of the 4U course :)
And I heard it's not that much 4U anyways, look at the other threads

No, there isn't a major disadvantage. In fact, it might even be helpful to do 135 and 136, if not for overloading both semesters (you're required to overload one, normally).

Actually, it depends whether you turn up to ACST101 Elements/Tutorials, or ACST211 Tutorials... which could mean 16 hours and, well, 15 hours. :D You'll see what I mean in second semester, if you couldn't do ACST101 in semester 1.

Oh, it's a matter of fact. I mean, the moderators never went after the first week or two; at least for ACST211 Tutorials.

hrm. So malachite and flyin' are maths freaks? :)

and 20 hours a week. hrm. school is like, what, 30 hours a week? so uni isn't all that free, like most people make it out to be.

Tell me, is Actuarial Studies a bludge?

EDIT:

I don't know. I'm not good at Mathematics. Can't even understand Vector Calculus (Limits) ><

Actually, so far I'm spending about half the time I did last year. And I feelin' good, atm. Maybe it's just early days.

A bludge? Such a nice rhetorical question. =p
