Do you do Maths Ext 2 in Year 12 with Ext 1 or on its own? Or do you take it with Ext 1 + Adv? this is confusing as to me

some top schools skip some 2u content bc they are smart enough to cope without lessons. regardless of whether or not your school forces you, you have to have a reasonable grasp on advanced content if you plan to do well in extension bc some of it sets the foundation for 3u content. you obviously wont be tested explicitly on this content (maybe its tested in ext 1) but its always good to know.

also need to get this off my chest: last term made one of the best poems i've ever done. excessive 4 pages of doublespaced freeverse (+ fandom-related!!) all for an ungraded for-fun assignment. english extension & advanced teachers gave thumbs up. did so well during in-class recitation but was too scared to ask if i could recite it in year-wide poetry slam. i am still seething :head in hands:

it was like some international korean students(?) who were asking me questions about god and stuff and what i think my purpose in life was... and i initially said yes cuz i thought it was for a school project then they tried getting my social media (i said no), invited me to an event for "friends and family" and asked to take a photo of me...

tbh i think she genuinely meant well and it wasn't a cult but maybe just a youth religious group? in general i try and stay away from those though because i have heard stories about shincheonji and other bad-practice religious groups that target young people at universities in recent years; i was mostly joking about the cult thing tho her actions were sus but maybe just culture differences

the way i instantly got a headache once i started studying for legal. its a sign…. (im so cooked [but it’s gonna be fine and the universe is kind] im so scared)
