got an email from melb uni talking abt this 'Destination Melbourne' program

it is a 3days on-campus camp sorta thing for ppl who live somehow far away from the uni
$50 for food&accomodation which sounds really good

anyone's going?

update:
I booked in this morning Jan 23 10:30am
and was told tat i'm the 1st commerce student tat has booked -_-||
so far there are abt 100 ppl who hav booked

i got offer for B Comm
and most likely im going to this program
not that i dont know how to get there..
it actually sounds interesting so yea

u didnt do vce?
coz i dont know there's a subject called 'math 3U' in vce

haha no no, i didnt, i did the HSC. See i live in albury, on the VIC-NSW border, so im going to Melbourne cos its closer. I was going to do B comm aswell! got the UAI/ENTER ( got 97.75) just thought i would prefer engineering. Where u from? and yes im thinking of going

so ur living around the 'albury-wodonga' place yea?
i know air force cadets that r from there

i live in point cook(where the 1st air force base was built in Aus )
which is relatively close to melb uni in comparison to ur place lol

Yes, i live in Albury lol I cant wait for uni, im deferring a year though, basically for $, dont wana go down and have to mooch off parents lol

disappointing to hear.

but cant u apply for the HECs thingy,
and pay back $ once u graduate?

yer ofcourse i can, the thing is im moving to melbourne (hence accommodation) and lifestyle need to be considered. HECS only covers course fees, so be careful there. I would rather have a year off and live comfortably than be a typical stingy uni student lol do u have msn? PM me it. Talk further.
