Do we have to go to tutorials on our first day? As far as I know, tutorials are based on stuff learnt from lectures and I don't have any specific lectures BEFORE a tutorial...

damn i just realised how unprepared i am... will they provide lecture notes/booklets or do we have to download and print them ourselves?

and do we need to buy separate notebooks to jot down notes or will doing this on the lecture notes be fine? i just bought $20 worth of notebooks so I sure hope not...
