Just a good understanding of it, not every single detail. Some subjects may be longer than others, but roughly how long do you think it would be possible to study for a topic in a short amount of time.

And using summary notes

8 days
thats based on 5hrs per day

at our tuition, we covered 1 module in 2 days, each 5hrs long during these holidays, hence it will take 8 days for 4 modules :)

yea about a full week at 5 hours a day. if you were just concentrating on that one thing though, and did 8 hours a day, you could probably finish the topic in only 3 days. but i dont suppose you have 3 days free since holidays are over

I'd say a week as well. Don't most 2 unit course run for 100 hours? (correct me if I am wrong) ~ If so, one week would be sufficient.

Hmm, well full notes on the syllabus... if you just sat and summarised a textbook which followed the syllabus correctly (such as Jacaranda Physics)... I would say a week.
wow a whole week.... eeeeep

Would that be just sitting there summarizing for about 8 hours a day?

I think one week is bullshit though. For some like, say maths, you'd have to spend about two hours on one technique just to get it perfect. If you studied 5 hours a day, you'd be lucky to do three techniques.

thats in a perfect world.

i think we are talking about cramming and just getting things down well. to get things down perfectly, yea you would need a lot of time.

To perfect, you need a lot more time.
One week is to cram all the information into each syllabus point blindly.
