Help - Drop Chemistry? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

At the moment, I'm contemplating whether or not to drop Chemistry..
I'm doing 12 Units at the moment. The subjects I am currently doing are:

• Advanced English
• Ext.1 English
• Ext.2 English
• General Maths
• PDHPE
• Biology
• Chemistry

The reason I'm thinking of dropping Chemistry is because I am pretty much certain that it will be the 2 units that don't count towards my UAI - plus the subject is starting to become a real pain in the ass!

I'm not sure whether I'll need it for Uni though - I'm hoping to go into either Marine Biology, Sports Science, Physio or something to do with film and media. None of these sybjects, from what I've seen, definately require Chemistry to get into..

What do you guys think?

are u really sure it wont count?
it scales a lot better than bio/gen math/pdhpe
so unless those subjects are a lot better than you chem, u never know if they may count

Okay, thanks guys.

I'll talk to the careers advisor .. but I'm leaning more towards not dropping it.

Putting more time into time into chemistry will probably help aswell - feel like I'm lacking so much motivation for school in general at the moment!
