i started off the holidays doing heaps of study...then thought i deserved a bit of a break. it's now been five days. i think it might be time to start again
Happens to me all the time.
I'm feeling pretty fucked for English.
Haven't finished my Module A generic essay (Pride and Prejudice/Letters to Alice)
Haven't started Module B generic essay (Hamlet) - though my sister told my that Mod B always has really specific questions, with which generic essays are useless. This did not increase my confidence.
Haven't found a second choice-text for Module C (Wag the Dog).
Not even thinking about AOS. I vaguely remember having done essays for it at one point.

I always say I'll leave English past papers till last, because I hate them, but then I never end up doing them, because I hate them.
I am fucked for English. I have no essays or creative writing pieces lol.

C'mon Peers don't be discouraged by the time you've missed out on.

There's still one whole week left - 7 DAYS!

Climb on your noble steed and make the last 7 days count - DON'T Regret these holidays!

Some Tips with trying to study:

  • Give yourself a reward after a decent amount of time. Like a biscuit, and if the study was immaculate, perhaps a chocolate biscuit!
  • Slap some sense into yourself. If you are finding it hard to start, try having a cold shower, and shout THIS IS ALL IM GONNA GET IF I DONT STUDY!!
  • Get rid of distractions! Turn off the TV, give your DS to your mum, ask your sister to hide your porn!
  • Perhaps punish youself in a small way, like set your desktop background to something you hate, and only change it back once you've done some study!
Have fun!

I've been doing past papers. I have my good days, I have my bad.

Some days I can complete 3 past papers and notes, others I can barely do one.

That's the most craziest thing ever. I've done some 3u math papers and some 4u math papers (the latter is somewhat terrible at times). Some is not a lot btw.

Procrastinating a bit too much... had to catch up with notes for 2 modules of chem *yuck* and yeah, same for physics.

notage only takes you so far. you also need to be able to arrange the content to answer whatever's being asked.

2 hours a day i think its fine, some motivation is that "we are gonna be the best year that achieves the best results"

even just put 30mins of effort a day then tbh you will be fine, even if it isn't enough at least you did some light studying we all need breaks.
