Oh god thats a beautiful photo of jake.

also to lala, i'd say keep your resume the way it is with the skills section and everything. If you can address extra skills in your resume that are not covered in the criteria, even better.

But from memory, when I went to my interview for my current hospital job, they refered both to my resume and online application. Its better to safe.

Wrote presentation for tomorrow. 5 minutes, one read through, let's see how this goes.

Now onto quiz preparation and lab prework.

i haven't touched anything since uni started. kudos to you.
I can't decide whether I'm falling back into old habits, everything's coming too early in semester or if I'm just focussing intensely on one subject at a time and getting carried away, by which point I'm marginally behind in the others again.

I think the last one, but this semester is very project heavy as well, three 10% assessments for one of my subjects due in week 5.

what are you doing?
This semester:

Software development project (solving bioinformatics problem related to gene regulatory networks)
Bioinformatics algorithms course (another sort of open-ended problem counts for 20% of my mark, going to be spending disproportionate amount of my time on that)
Internet software platforms (need to implement an interactive website that does cool things. I think we're doing a database of subject/lecturer/tutor reviews)
Human Computer Interaction (complete bullshit course about user interfaces)

Wah. Fuck HCI. I don't even own the textbook. I have an old version and have no idea what matches up where. Looks like another $100 to be spent :/

Cool, thanks for that KarmaKitten. Just another question though--for the resume, should I copy verbatim the examples I used on the selection criteria, or should I use new examples that further demonstrate that skill? I don't want to sound too repetitive, but I really only have one or two strong examples for each which I'm putting on the statement of claims and don't want to make my resume too weak looking in comparison.
