ok, so im really disappointed with my trials resuts... i was aiming for an ATAR of 90 or more, but now i dont think thats gonna be possible... could somebody please interpret my marks and ranks, and give me some sort of advice on how they would be moderated and what they would equate to if i got those exact exam marks in the HSC? or perhaps maybe some advice on my HSC mark possiblilties? i have no idea how this marking system works, so im not sure what ur gonna be able to work out....
Adv English= 76/105 = rank 5th (out of 40)
Maths= 108/120 = rank equal 2nd (out of 22)
Ext 1 maths= 38/84 = 3rd (out of 3)
Chemistry = 60/100 = 5th (out of 16)
Biology= 87/100 = 1st (out of 21)
Business= 73/100 = 6th (out of 41)
SOR= 35/50 = 14th (out of 96)
would i still be able to get an ATAR of around 90 with those as my hsc exam marks?
last year my school was ranked 409th =S
and these are my overall, final assessment marks (which i worked out using the weightings of each assessment, etc)
and the ranks ive provided underneath here, are my guesses at what my overall assessment rank may be...
maths= 89% (3rd)
biology= 88% (2nd, by 0.07 marks!)
business= 75% (5th or 6th)
chem= 78% (about 5th, maybe 4th if im lucky)
english= 74% (8th at the most)
ext maths= 24/50 (3rd out of 3)
SOR= 37/50 (about 15th)
