Yes, central station + buses at Eddy Avenue will take you to Maroubra.

also ewww @ crownies
thanks :)

God I'm gonna have to get up at some hideous hour of the morning...kind of glad I won't be driving. Peak hour traffic to a place I've never been + being half awake = not good

i was giving a friend a lift home from uni. needed to get in the right lane. there was a gap emerging so i turned my indicator on, the car that was slightly nxt to me but back a little bit (thus the gap) decided he didn't wanna let a p plater in, so started to accelerate to try and cut me off. i then responded by accelerating (i had right of way, gap, he was behind so had to let me in) and just got in to the lane.

i then watched in the rear view mirror as he picked up piece of paper took out a pen and studied the back of my car (obviously writing down number plate) i then moved further right into another lane and as he drove a window he showed the piece of paper as he drove past.

Had a friend in the car at the time and she will happily back me up as she couldn't understand his motives.

i don't think you had right of way. and in any case, when a hazard presents itself (the other moron) you shouldn't have responded by accelerating hard in what i'm thinking was pretty heavy traffic?

it seems to me that if he's already in the lane, and you want to pop in front of him in what was, as you described, a "little bit" gap, then he has right of way and your job is to see if he's gonna let you in, rather than to push your way in.

not to say what he did was right. fact of the matter is that i am the world's best driver. i dodged a massive dog this afterlunch on my bike cuz im a sick cunt.
