Hey how did you calculate 2? I couldn't find the diameter of the earth on the data sheet :(

Mine:

1 C
2 A
3 C
4 D
5 B
6 A
7 C (looking back, it might be D)
8 C
9 D (guess)
10 B
11 D (guess, I figured the first graph should be a sine curve and the second should resemble a cosine curve)
12 C (guess, don't know what donor or acceptor levels are xD)
13 B
14 C
15 A (oh shit, is this B??)

yea for 5 i was tossing up between b or c, i stayed with b so hopefuly its correct.
with question 9, i think the current went from R to P, which means the electrons go the other direction and hence a build up at R giving me the answer of C
i had 13 different, i got A, but i wasnt sure
the rest was cool :)

pretty sure its C... the prac we did for inducing a current, my result said answer C was correct, (our prac was exactly the same setup) the copper followed the direction of the rotating magnet

I think 5 B is right, according to F = (Gm)/(r^2)

As for 9, my re3asoning was that eddy currents are formed in the thin conductor, so electrons would be concentrated around Q or S, but S was experiencing the most change in magnetic flux so more electrons would be concentrated there, due to the induced current, but I'm REALLY not sure hehe. I want the answer to it so bad xD

Thanks, I was thinking this because the field line would just go straight through all of them at the same magnitude.

4 C can't be right:

x falls with a horizontal velocity lower than that of y, and both have the same initial vertical velocity and acceleration. It has to be D.

I think 5 is B. if u look at the universal law of gravitation, F decreases with increasing distance.
As for 9 i think it is A. using right hand rule and lenz's law, opposing force goes up and field is into the page...so positive current goes to the right and electrons are at in the opposite side at P..anyone agree?
