well this is very exciting! it better be good!
we have the new bakery lookup on all registers and this is not an upgrade...
so I think there might be a real upgrade coming!!
... only found out today that you can press 'view first unread' on this thread (at the top)... very helpful

Nope, sorry guys. There is no WoWPOS SCO upgrade coming up. There is only an update for bakery look up menus which affects both WoWPOS registers and WoWPOS SCOs.
CSM's recieved a CoreComm about it on Friday which needs to be actioned by this Tuesday.

oh well never mind, shame they couldn't get an upgrade out by christmas, hopefully will be one early next year. Nevertheless some changes to the bakery lookup menu is good, so can't complain too much...

Well with that kind of attitude towards customers no wonder you're not a supervisor yet.Bugger. We are going to be open boxing day; in the first minutes of open on boxing day, we had over 100 people enter our store. I was absolutely shocked/horrified. I was there for open and close (9-5) and I was kicking customers out at 10 and 15 mins past, and they were complaining "we need food", "we still have to get the bargains".
I just turned around and said, if you knew how much the town spent in the past week, you would not want to come near this place anytime for the next month.
We are open, and the staff are spewing.
EDIT: While discussing this with a customer, I stated that it is rude and harsh on staff. They just got up me, saying that the customer is always right, and that although we do not want to be open, we have to keep the customer happy. I just turned around and bit back, looking at their uniform and said how would you like for *** to be open? ... Have a nice day.
Dunno. I suppose they think it's rude or something.
Do mainland stores have carpet cleaners for hire in them as well? Someone brought back their Rug Doctor today because it flew sparks everywhere, emitted a toxic smell and blew all the fuses in their house. Poor man.
Just quizzed some facers photos from the xmas party, totally gross. STM and SSM appeared to be groping each other madly all night, even though they both have partners.

It was hot and the movies were shit and I had to pee really bad but the toilets were filth!!! Food was mega crap.

I'm flying Qantas to Melbourne in a few weeks. So hope they've cleaned the toilets by then.
