Use Coroneos and make your notes on that.

Make your notes nice and simple that include major types of questions. Later you can put some harder examples in there.

Try using the excel guides. They contain most of the items that you will need to know for your exam and have ready made study cards. Also on the Board of Studies website there is past papers and multiple choice questions with answers. Another site you might want to check out is ARC as it has examples of how to set your answers out for a range of different band descriptors.

PS> It might be worth getting a maths book from the Maths Association later in the year and trying to organise a conference with a HSC maths marker through your school.

the best way to study for maths is to practice practice practice

do the homework, your study notes should consist of the theory and examples that you are studying.

you should look up doing past papers and get your teacher to mark them if you get it wrong thats ok :) better to get it wrong now than in the exam right?

Exactly, most certainly correct there! :) That's why ARC, Board of Studies and the Maths Associations books are good resources as well as they show you step by step where you went wrong on a question. Also allowing you to work at your own pace and if you still need it you can obtain feedback from your teacher.

In Maths in my honest opinion, you just need to practice, practice, practice. This isnt Economics where you need to memorize stacks of notes, you just need to understand the logic behind the questions.

If you are constantly practicing by doing past papers, come the exam you'll be more than ready!

Past papers. No study notes needed - just keep on doing questions until you can do 'em all.
