Why are the HSC mathematics examinations (excluding General Mathematics) not marked out of 100? Why did the Board set them as 120, 84 and 120?
Did you seriously think any of us would have the answer? Why are the HSC mathematics examinations (excluding General Mathematics) not marked out of 100? Why did the Board set them as 120, 84 and 120?
+1 lolDid you seriously think any of us would have the answer?
I take that you're not exactly a sympathiser with Gen people lol.Gen Math people look at their results, if they got 80/120, and then get it converted to 67, they'll go OMG I GOT 80 IN MY EXAM AND IT WENT DOWN TO 67, WAI?
That is just slack. In General Mathematics you learn how to convert fractions into percentages. Doing General Maths does not mean you are spectacularly bad at mathematics.Gen Math people look at their results, if they got 80/120, and then get it converted to 67, they'll go OMG I GOT 80 IN MY EXAM AND IT WENT DOWN TO 67, WAI?
Okay. Thank you.If they chopped 20 marks off the 2 unit exam, it would be a pretty short test. They wouldn't be able to test enough of the syllabus.
If they made it the same length but out of 100, they would have to give fewer marks than each question deserves.
Isn't that an oxymoron there, no offence? In General Mathematics you learn how to convert fractions into percentages. Doing General Maths does not mean you are spectacularly bad at mathematics.
lol :disn't that an oxymoron there, no offence?
