maybe as a postgrad to any of the following:

oxford
cambridge
harvard
yale
stanford
cornell
duke
princeton
brown
cornell
mit
new york
berkley
chicago
virginia
Pennsylvania

will probably do a post-grad at ANU though first

I would love to go to cambridge as a postgrad, for some reason I prefer it much more over Oxford. But I would be happy with anywhere that is a good uni, but its just that the oxbridge universities have so much history. You know, some of these buildings have existed since the thirteenth century. Amazing!! :)

Unless your a genius, super rich or famous, having Harvard as one of your goals will make you go crazy. You don't know the tremendous amount of effort, time, dedication and tenacity it takes. And even if you have all those qualities in abundance, your still competing with 20000 other candidates who have worked on the edge of their limits to get into Harvard.

It really is THAT hard. Getting an UAI of 99.95 is like doing an elementary school quiz compared to getting into Harvard.

Wow, is that in order of prestige? loll
ones i came up with first.

but yeah i guess it could be in order of prestige,

(with 4 or 5 errors).

yale is the best law school in the US, followed by harvard.

and i'd prefer yale over oxford/cambridge.

Why not you just go to USyd, enroll in the law school. Try out for the Harvard exchange? Though I imagine this would be tremendously difficult.

It's mainly/originally a sports conference of east coast Universities. Many great universities such as Stanford, UC Berkeley and Duke are not included in the Ivy League.

so it was a bunch of unis which competed against each other in sports?

Seems stupid that that is the basis that brought them to the top of the uni ranks worldwide...would still rather be at UOW than yale or Harvard, at least I'm in a civellised country

ivy league: The term also has connotations of academic excellence, selectivity in admissions, and social elitism.

from wiki

its like that rugby thing that the private schools in sydney have.
