If slavery was still in existence in a legal form today, in this country:

I would never ever ever buy slaves.

My views of those who did buy slaves would be variable. For example, it depends who buys slaves and for what reasons: for personal pelasure? Or for serious needs due to disabilities?

Next, if I were enslaved, I'd act in accordance to the personality of my master: if he/she has bought me because of pleasure, I'd commit murderous acts, or if he/she bought me for satisfactory needs then I would complete my chores, but also in the other hand, beg for me freedom, which I'm sure would be granted considering my sincerity

pretty sure that someone who paid a heap of money for you wouldn't just free you cos you asked for it

1. Could be anyone, we'll assume an average family of 4, has a bit of cash though.
2. Duties include cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, possibly sex with the parents and/or teenage male (or female) family members.
3. You have no rights, your master/mistress can kill you at any time if you displease them. your quarters would either be the size of the cupboard under the stairs that harry potter lives in or a barracks set up with other slaves.
