Can anyone suggest some good texts for journeys? (excluding prescribed text for HSC)

Anything with a journey in it, which is basically most texts. Just pick something short and sweet that has heaps of techniques in it which you wouldn't mind watching/reading over and over again.

Most movies are great for the 'journeys' study, but here are some really good ones:

The Count of Monte Cristo - shows the journey of Edmond Dantes from a boy, to a man. The whole movie is basically a metaphor of this journey.

Braveheart- The journey of William wallace from a 'lovestruck family man'
to a savage war hero

That is true, but if you willing to put hours into it you should be fine. My advice, read some analysis's from the internet but do not use them. I'm sure your teacher would of seen many similar ones before, get the idea from the internet and write YOUR OWN interpretation.

I was stuck on finding a text for my tutor and this really helped.
