Heys has anyone done the belonging assessment where you have to find 6 texts and answer questions on them?

can i get some suggestions on some short but good texts? i.e Poems, song lyrics.

can someone send me their assignment so i can hav notes on how to write it?

If it's 6 different texts, they should all vary from one anotehr. For instance, the use of the following texts might be helpful:

1. 'Looking for Alibrandi' by Melina Marchetta (novel)
2. Peter Skrzynecki's 'Immigrant Chronicle', which consists of 7 poems so you can choose any i.e. 'St Patrick's College' or 'Migrant Hostel' (poetry)
3. Shaun Tan's 'The Arrival' (picture book)
4. 'Sense of Belonging' <- Artist: Soraya lyrics, Album: 'I'm Yours', Year: 2000 (song)
5. 'Belonging - an interview by Kevin Steinberger' <- google it; it's part of an extended review of 'Belonging' in Magpies Magazine, Volume 9 no 3, July 2004 (interview script)
6. 'Packed with Belonging' by Jackie McGlone <- It appears in the Scotsman newspaper. Published: 9 Feb 2008. (article)
