Which degree would be best to learn about atoms,matter,elements,etc..

I do chemistry right now in hs...i might be interested in learning more..

also what kind of career could I achieve with said degree?

I would say physics which looks even beyond just atoms.

True, but as far as i know unless you go into research the jobs the op is talking about would be few and far between.

The way i see it is its better to do something vaguely related to your interests then nothing at all.

But yea, you are right, but the OP might find he likes other parts of chemistry too, its only term 1.

He was asking in what degree do you learn about that stuff.

You do not learn about it in ChemE apart from first year.
