Any tips for self motivation? I seem to be taking things too lightly....

Well my motivation is that i've spent all this time at school (12 years, 13 including this one) that it would seem like a waste of time if i didn't give it my best when it actually matters. :read:

if you make it to usyd you ll get all the hot guys, if you make it to UWS you get all the bogans
take your pick.

NOTE: applies to both sexes.

i can't wait for hsc to be over and spend my 3 months of nothingness catching up on all the games i've missed and start gigging again!

Just think of whatever it is that you want to do with life,

are you going to procrastinate for a year, and waste several more in the process, trying to do what you want to do later in life?

or are you going to study hard and destroy the hsc to get there years earlier?

Think of finally not having any school and being free. I also think that I've spent almost 13 years at school, let's not screw it up and make it 14 or a lousy mark. What motivated me to make better notes was to see someone else's extensive notes. It either really depresses you or motivates you.

The look on that arrogant kid's face when you get your results back and you've crushed them.
Honestly, just think of how good you'll feel :)

At my school, that's me. Except, I'm not arrogant to other people. I don't be all like "WOO I GOT A HIGHER MARK THAN YOUUUUUU" or some bs. That's just stupid. I get that from other kids when they get higher marks than I do. It's pretty funny.

I think people mistake competitiveness for arrogance.
Competition is good though.

Yeah, there's this one girl at my school that's hell-bent at beating me. It's really cute to see her be so proud when she actually does succeed.

I agree, competition is healthy.
