in the driving test, are you meant to indicate left before doing a 3 point turn to pull to the left and then indicate right and continue? if not, what are you meant to do?

Make sure you do a really obvious headcheck to the left as you pull over too. Even though there'll probably not be another car in sight...

ok thanks guys, i got my p's
ended up not having to do a 3 point turn, the manoeuvres i had to do were just kerbside stop and reverse parallel park.

what type of parking do they normally test?
i think you are most likely going to get a reverse parallel if they make you do a park

The driving test includes a number of manoeuvres including:
• Kerb side stop.
• Hill start.
• Three-point turn.
• Parking, reverse parallel, 90 degree or 45 degree,
front or rear to kerb (type depending on local availability).

that was taken off the guide to the driving test

yeah kerb-side stop and reverse parallel is what I had to do, I think it's probably the most common. I did a three-point turn in that he asked me to park in a dead end street and then I had to turn around, I'm not sure if it was counted or whatever but I knew how to do one anyway.

lucky i didnt need to do hill start... otherwise i would crash into the car behind me.. my handbrake is mental..
