i wouldnt worry too much about christians body. it looks like we are going to understand what happened to claire and christian soon enough

i also think that no one in the show is "possessed" by MIB or jacob or anyone. rather MIB can take the form of anyone, such as Yemi, Locke or Alex. Christian seemed to guide locke off the island in order to get him to die and come back (probably related to the loophole thing) so i think christian was actually MIB too, not jacob.

actually, i dont think jacob has taken the form of anyone else at all. im not too concerned about the whereabouts of various bodies. smokey can throw people around so its entirely possible that he just moved the bodies someplace where no one would find them, making his manifestations more believable

also regarding Sayid and claire, i think that they have what has been known throughout the show as "the sickness".

im also considering who are the real bad guys in lost. jacob brought the black rock to the island, he also met with some key characters off the island and he also brought illana to the island to help him. if we consider MIB to just be protecting the island from all intruders, then it could be that MIB is like Ben (which might explain why ben can summon smokey) and jacob is similar to Widmore.

lost is all about white vs black, good vs evil. but i dont think we know who for certain just who is on which side just yet

All I have to add to this thread is that Smokey is so awesome. But to be honest if Smokey was in reality and came to like your school and started to kill people, you would be a little freaked out right?

just a tad

watched Sundown a few days ago. All I can say is that it felt like such a nothing episode.

the sideways story was unfufilling. the only points of interest came in the very last minutes where we learnt Keamy may be working for Sun's dad and that Jin is involved as well somehow. took us a whole episode to get to that one fact.

on the island we have Sayid who is about to turn super evil yet no one in the temple will kill him or even take precautions. Sayid kills Dogen which apparently lets smokey into the temple, yet nobody though of making sure sayid stayed away from Dogen. Lost is known for its mysteries, yet these feel more like plot holes

so a bad episode IMO. ive got high hopes for next weeks Ben centric ep

great, as always. the only thing i dont understand is, why the hell those 2 koreans speak english to each other......

Ah see the Adam and Eve story was always one of the things that I always wanted to know so I guess that's why I saw it coming.
But they still haven't told us the Man in Black's name.

i'm interested in (mainly 1 and 4)
1) the numbers (although I heard they arent gonna be addressed, which is kinda gay)
2) Bernard and Rose...where the heck are they?
3) The lists that Ben had (on behalf of the others). Is there gonna be any light shed on this. Or we just assume it was linked to the candidates...
4) The significance of Walt. This is the one I have particularly been interested in. But the whole ageing debacle screwed things up
5) I'm still upset over Eko...(and Boone). Hope we see more of them, in alt. reality
I'm suprised we havent seen more of Anna Lucia in lat. reality- but she could be off shooting other projects? I heard there might be some old characters returning for season finale!

kind of implies that after 6 seasons, they arent going to give us solid answers for a lot of things

i think ill have some satisfaction after it all ends, but i dont imagine that i will be completely content. i always imagined that in the end every little piece will come together from the very start and that i could rewatch every episode in a new light and understand it all. i very much doubt this will come true

The creators of the show would never bring everything together and tie it all up with a neat little bow. I'd be much more surprised if they did. It's really not like them at all. I don't think we'll ever know why Desmond can survive being exposed to electromagnetic catastrophes or what the numbers mean.
This entire series was designed to screw with the audience's minds.
I think it'll be similar to the last Harry Potter book (but with some loose ends). You know the feeling that came after finishing the Deathly Hallows? It's like that but with millions more questions.
