No, I'm being serious.

If rudd wins this, labor has no chance of winning the election.

Also, Labor needs to be demolished, it's a shit party.
Once the dust settles, whoever the ALP leader is, the coalition will still be lead by Tony Abbott and frankly I'd back Laurrie Ferguson to win a general election against Abbott.

wait do people in this thread actually believe the leader has any influence on the polices of the party? if so you guys are so naive.

Abbot can be a huge right wing conservative all he wants. doesn't mean his beliefs are actually going to make it into policy

thats what the general public thinks, along with the ALP, why you telling us that?

I believe most people here are more educated than ALP members.

Fair point. Ruddles tried this with his kitchen cabinet, and look at where that got him.
A kitchen cabinet that comprised of Gillard, the defato leader of the socialist left Tanner and Beazleys top rooster Swan. It's hardly like Rudd put together a group of his closest allies.

Ugh, my head isn't clear, the only name that comes to mind is Shorten but ten minutes ago I said otherwise meaning I would have had a better name in mind then. If she tries to cut a deal with the Beazley rivals maybe Swan/Smith, otherwise...Albo?

I'd expect the deputy to be from the right faction.

I would choose Tanner.
Lol they hate each other, Tanner will be fighting like a lion to try and keep the socialist left behind Rudd(no that's not a typo, the ferguson left is firmly behind Gillard but I believe the socialist left will largely vote Rudd).

Hahaha. I don't care what people say. I like you Lentern.
You are too nice for words you know that?

I gathered as much, I just can't imagine what I've said in the past that you repped. I've paid out Kenneally labour quite harshly before so maybe it was related to that.

If she cuts a deal with the Beazley faction then yeah but otherwise there isn't a lot to choose from. Crean? I can't see it, Shorten? Possibly but big step up, its not a hard and fast rule, Rees and Tebbutt for example.
