Hi all, it has been a couple of weeks since the last "How is everyone coping" thread.

So Year 11s, what are your thoughts on your Preliminary journey so far?

  • How is everyone managing study and social wise?

  • How much homework are you receiving NOW?

  • Have you changed your subjects or are considering to change?

  • Most importantly how much work are you getting done? ;-)

Is it? How can I change it to sound more like a Preliminary thread?

It's only been like 2 weeks. There's not much to say I'd presume.

True. If you're going to make these threads leave a larger gap in between each. It gets annoying seeing the same question over & over again but I'll answer the questions because I have nothing else to do.

How is everyone managing study and social wise?
Good.

How much homework are you receiving NOW?
A bit more.

Have you changed your subjects or are considering to change?
No. I'm happy with all my subjects.

Most importantly how much work are you getting done? ;-)
All of it.

Haha same question already? Deja vu

* How is everyone managing study and social wise?
Fine....
* How much homework are you receiving NOW?
Not that much
* Have you changed your subjects or are considering to change?
Yes, I considered changing strongly but have decided against it.
* Most importantly how much work are you getting done? ;-)
My homework but not actually doing more than I need to atm (oops :0) But I think I'm doing better than the people who haven't read their novel yet in English when I had two to read.

The thing I find hardest is early morning English Ext. I despise mornings. (especially when maths ext gets sport arvo and I still have to go to sport *grumble about discrimination) It annoys me that we aren't in an Eng Ext. class all the time like the maths extensioners. There are people in my adv. class that...wow, why did they pick it? Mathematics is so easy because it's all stuff we've done before, I get it done in class so I never get homework. Bio is a bit boring but ok. Chem is <3, best subject. Modern History is ok atm, should be better when we get into better topics. Eco is an amazing class but I don't know if I'm really learning :p

Oh yeah, I feel totally fine for not doing French due to what I heard about the class now :p Oh and Maths Ext sounds like an unbearable load of maths for me haha. So yeah, not changing my subjects. Wish I could for some, but the lines are the way they are.....

How is everyone managing study and social wise?
Relatively well.
How much homework are you receiving NOW?
Not as much as I thought I would.
Have you changed your subjects or are considering to change?
I think our deadline to change subjects was yesterday. Either way, I am considering advance up from general to advanced mathematics; general is just a little too easy.
Most importantly how much work are you getting done? ;-)
I'll admit: I'm procrastinating. I am getting things done in the end, even though it means late-night Sundays.

How is everyone managing study and social wise?
Study wise, I feel that I should be doing more. 1 hour of studying and 3 hours of playing doesn't look too right... :p
Social wise, everything's just like how it was in year 10.

How much homework are you receiving NOW?
Not much, but hey, it's only been 5 weeks!
Actually I have 6 assignments to do (I guess that's what you should expect for doing 14 units)
Kind of panicking inside, procrastinating to make myself feel better (Futile, I know.)

Have you changed your subjects or are considering to change?
I'm planning on dropping Ancient History and Biology.
But I don't know if I will get bored in the rest of my subjects; they're the 2 subjects which add variety to my school life.

Most importantly how much work are you getting done? ;-)
I am armed with a to do list. Fear me >D

I don't really care for year eleven. Only going to sort of pay attention in maths, chem and bio and a little in english. Screw year eleven, work in year twelve :p That shall be my motto. Just chill for now :p

Mathematics and English is a solid foundation block for Year 12.

I totally agree. That's why I actually listen in class [unless my teacher is being totally retarded and going really slow]

If a teacher is slow, I see it as a perfect opportunity to get ahead of my classmates. ;-)
