Hello I just got my new ranks from the school after a batch of new assesment tasks, These were the results:

School rank is low 200-205

Maths 2U ranking 29/52 (Last assignment came 4th and rank went up)
English standard 2/70
Business studies 4/33
Ancient History 4/35
Economics 1/16

Can I please have an atar estimation ? Sorry for the repost , I was just curious due to my new ranks and marks

XD, yeap i got 40/100 for the 45% of the weighting lol......... But next exam I did alright came like 4/52.

imo 92-95, you have to push maths up and kill the actual hsc for anything higher, but tbh you can get up higher

Is it just me or are these "predictions" not very reliable?

If I were you, I'd ask the teachers what HSC mark(or range of mark) I'd end up getting on my current rank ,as predicted from previous year's students' performance and your teacher comparison of the quality of these cohorts

Then you could play around with an ATAR calculator, like this one http://www.matrixeducation.com.au/atar/atar-calculator.html

But this could be inaccurate as well since your current rank may vary after trials and your year could be significantly smarter than the previous one
