I've always wondered, when people usually think of the 'most superior schools', do many view the GPS schools as the best all-round schools? Or are there others that are seen as better?

Well sports on Saturday is pretty awesome. Love getting smashed in union, archery, rowing and etc.

The lure of going to a GPS school is mainly in the prestige and tradition. That said, most GPS schools don't really top the state in very much (e.g. academics or sport). In the past, they were probably thought of as much better. Don't get me wrong though, the prestige and opportunities provided there surpass most public and private schools (compliments mainly to higher fees).
