What's the best physics textbook to use?
lol agreed with rank 1 but my school uses in2physics, there are some very basic explanation in there but I personally use jacaranda. it has great info and good examples for using an equation and what not. but go to your school or local library and read some of the textbooks there. and see what is useful for you

HELP!! I have a physics prac to do and i think it's going to be on proving ohm's law or kirchoff's current/voltage laws. How would I go about this

I don't really what your prac is but if you don't know the prac brforehand then learn your theory and any equation needed to use in your gathered results from the prac.

@stillthinkin The importance is in the "gathered" results. Whatever you do, do not learn optimal results and complete them in your results. In most pracs errors are expected.

I've got the theory down, it's just writing the experiment and collecting the data that screws me over.

Should I include percentage error??

Hi! I have a quick question

It is for a prac - this is from Jacaranda new version prelim

2. Pass at least five different currents through the
resistor by varying both the voltage of the
power supply and the resistance of the variable
resistor.

Why is it that we vary two components? (The aim is to determine resistance)

Ahhh going crazy...

i had my year 11 subject information introduction today, im still wondering abt doing physics, is it worth it?
it really depends on your interest. If you're not interested then it will be long and boring lessons but if you like it then you should do quite well and enjoy the subject at the same time. But three factors will determine on why you pick physics: you enjoy doing it, you are doing good in science in year 10 (physics topics) and if you need physics for your desired uni course( engineering, science, etc.)
