like does anybody actuaqlly here DO ANYTHING for the sake of 'saving the planet' or are any 'environmentally friendly' things done done for other reasons

i admit i do basically sh!t all but i have a tiny carbon footprint (not because im doing anything explictly to stop climate change though)

does anybody actually care

fyi i think climate change is real and occuring for anthropogenic reasons

if we can't adopt to a changing environment we don't deserve to survive as a species tbh

My carbon footprint is probably tiny. I catch the train/bus to save time and money, not for climate change. (interesting the profit motive works)

my research is kinda vaguely sorta related to climate change

(lol not really but it gets funding so...)

the ironic thing is that i drive hundreds of kms around the state in a big 4wd in order to supposedly help save animals from climate change, lol

“Ahh!, Ahh! Plant food is destroying the world. Save us, Save us.”
“ Quick, quick, pay more taxes, make it go away.”
“Coca Cola bubbles and plant food are destroying the climate.”

I don't eat meat but generally likewise, being financially frugal tends to overlap a lot with being green. I compost and then use it for plants which I've noticed a lot of friends don't, that's something I suppose.

Private transport has such a stigma but it's really not of most consequence, that transport figure isn't all private. Half of the stationary energy figure is from aluminium production.

what is savannah burning as opposed to stubble burning?

is it brush/bushfires? if so, how are they included when they are naturally occuring. Probably with decreased severity these days due to land clearing and lack of ground cover during summer in stubble paddocks.

Aluminium yew. Do we have a disproportionately large aluminium production capability in australia or

Actually I remember aluminium was supposed to be 1/3 of all energy use in NSW, but there probably isn't equal aluminium production in all states hey.
