I've done 10 HSC, 5 Independent, 6 CSSA and 2 Exam Choice.
Do all the HSC exams, and at least 5 of the other exams.

re you looking at like 95+ in chem?
how do you find the time to do all those?
did you start doing them before the trials? coz since the trials ive only done like 6 papers and for the trials i did just 2 CSSA and managed a good 70/100 :)

Try to do as many HSC papers as you can (but the old ones won't be of much use anymore). The exams for chemistry are getting harder each year and are very skills based - so know your pracs well and how to balance equations etc.

I would stick to HSC past papers because the question style differs to the miscellaneous trial papers.

I've done all the CSSA and Independent after the syllabus change, plus a few NEAP papers and 3 HSC papers. Probably finish all the HSC papers and that's it because its a real pain finding papers with Forensics T_T

not sure if you have heard of these sites but they have an abundance of chem papers but not sure if the option forensics is there, they are peer doc .net and hscguide .net.

by the way people, the examiners are looking for new questions because they don't want to repeat questions over and over, and they are running out of questions so they will most likely dwell deeper into the details so try know the theoretical as well as the practical parts in deepth.
best of luck =D

which is everything:)
lol yeh but then again you could just go through the more detailed and important things. Some stuff from the core modules which I reckon need to be looked at closely are production of ethanol and its uses, an example of a biopolymer (PS I got an assignment with a lot of information on a biopolymer and batteries if anyone would like) and also the formation of the polymer cellulose, batteries (in particular how to compare lead acid battery/ dry cell to another form of battery), the decay of radioactive material and a radioisotope used in medicine and industry, Le Chatelier's principle and how to apply it to questions, acids and there uses, acidic oxides, differentiating between acids and bases (like know what's strong), the definition of acids as time transcended, how to identify ions in solution (both cations and anions), how properties of water are measured and monitored (such as DO, BOD, hardness etc...), pollution of the atmosphere, the layers within the atmosphere, how to name haloalkanes and there effect on the atmosphere (depletion of ozone) and why there is extreme ozone depletion over the antartic.
PS I know that's a lot but even if you just skim read, you may just remember some important things during the exam, and best of luck studying =D
