I've got a feeling we may see a Case Study question like this....

Analyse how effective change management strategies may result in the development of new marketing strategies

Just wondering how we would link Business Management and Change to Marketing.
An idea's by using this an example?

Not really.

I believe the HSC exams are already written and locked in before the CSSA trials are done, so it won't matter whats in the CSSA.

"Analyse how effective change management strategies may result in the development of new marketing strategies"

Such a stupid question though...
How the hell can you implement a change strategy, when you haven't even decided what your changing to.

Plus, case studies? Perhaps you get away with identifying the need for change, and setting achievable goals - not so much for creating a culture of change, change models.

We should all post different questions and try and figure them out?
If you get what I mean?

I mean this question is pretty bad, it would screw most people over even myself. I got 16/20 for trials with this and was pretty struggling with it.... (had to plan for 10-15mins).

CSSA would have tried to predict what is in the HSC and included it into it's exam; Hence why i thought it was a good question to be explained.

to effectively answer the question, I would start by drawing out all the syllabus dotpoints relating to managing change (so i think that was identifying the need for change, setting achievable goals, creating a culture of change and the use of change models) and then the marketing strategies that a business can implement (product, price, promotion, place) and try to identify key links between them. so, for example, you could talk about the link between identifying the need for change and implementing a new promotional strategy. e.g. the business might recognise that its profitability is falling and so it recognises that it needs to improve brand awareness/consumer loyalty and encourage new and existing customers to come back to the business, i.e. relationship marketing. stuff like that. so really try to make links across all the syllabus dotpoints. hope that helps!
