More than that, probably around 96
Oh really? That's good news, honestly was pretty devastated walking out but yeah, think im sitting on about 72.
Would you happen to have an idea of ~90 in the 4 unit? Maybe a bit less, like 85

what do you reckon the mark would be to scrape an E3? (40/50)

I think 96 is a very generous estimate for 72. Last year an 80/84 was 98. Take it with a grain of salt - I know everyone comes on here saying it was hard, but its like that after every exam. Doing an exam under pressure and time =/= doing it in the comfort of your own home (or library, or wherever). The thing that probably got most people was timing.
Having said that, I like to estimate more conservatively (its better to expect worse and do better :p) and I think you'll end up with a ~93 for 3 unit and 92-95 for 4 unit. Good luck, but don't put too much stock into estimates... :)

Yes, and a 56/84 gives 90 (2010) and an extra 16 marks will only give an extra 2-5 marks - yeah, right. A 72/84 atleast 94/100 equivalent.

Thoughts on what 78-80/84 would align to?

I'm expecting lower than 50... honestly I failed so badly.

When I got stuck in parametrics I started to panic.

I marked my paper and Will get a minimum of 45, do you think thats enough for an e3? Also any idea of a rough scaled mark?
Thanks :3

I guess it depends on what method you use get there. I'll admit, for part (iii) my method was pretty fudgey. Hope I still get the mark though.. :S
Part three required you to prove 3 points were collinear- got that out in a few lines by using circle geometry properties by explaining how the two centres, P and O of each circle bisect the chord, hence the angle from each centre to the chord is 90degrees and hence all three points lie on the same line..written out mathematically of course lol

Yeah that was the proof I used. I think I may have thrown in something else in there for good measure, and I just hope I won't get marked down for it. :x Gunning for a 75+ to compensate for my crap 4 unit. Le sigh.
