Just wondering, did anyone do the All My Own Work course at their school? If so, how did you find it? Not sure if everyone across the state does it or if it's just us...

It's prescribed by the board of studies and is a mandatory requirement for all students.

It's a compulsory course that is completed after SC. We did it at our school and it was a bludge. Everyone just talked while doing it. :D
They just give you some info and you just answer questions on it. Common sense really.

Haha I found it easy too. Got 98% for the test. It was really annoying since for most of the time we had subs who didn't know what they were doing so I got all panicky and actually studied for it...turned out it was all common sense.

The only thing we did that had any relevance to the All my own work program was typing into moodle stuff the teacher dictated (basically all the subject requirements completed) so it would be sent to the board of studies.

*shivers* They still do All My Own Work? I'd thought they'd stop... Wells I got over 90% and didn't know what I was answering... seriously.

No, the pass mark was 80%...at least it was for our school. It was out of 50.
My school had a pass mark of 100%, although we could do the test as many times as we needed until we got 100% lol.

Yes, we could attempt it over and over as well. Wow your school is must be selective if you needed 100%. I thought about redoing the test the second time to get full marks but couldn't be bothered haha.

You have to complete AMOW or something equivalent to be eligible for the HSC but, although most schools do it at the end of year 10, some will do it in Year 11 and I have known us to have a student do it after the trials because they came to us late and it was then that it was realised that this kid hadn't done it.
