ok so my course structure consists of 2 cores, 1 major, 1 elective? are electives optional, can someone do 3 units/semester and still successfully finish the course?

From my understanding, you have to do them to reach the required number of credits for your course.

Hi, You can certainly choose to do three units this semester. Three units is still considered a full time load. You can certainly still successfully finish the course, however it can lengthen the time it will take to finish it.
