Hey guys,
How does competition impact on employment in the aviation industry? I've written a lot on how competition affects price and productivity however it will seem really repetitive if I say firms will aim to hire more people or cut jobs in order to maximise profits to stay competent with other companies etc. (I'm writing an essay) Is there anything more to it?

Consider structuring it along the lines of the porters 5 forces model. Google it to find out more. It is a simple approach which could be quite effective for your purposes - but I stress that depends on what the question is asking.
