Does pH affect the dissolution rate of table salt? (1 Viewer)

I've looked around on the internet but found no clear answer :( Does anyone know if pH levels affect the dissolving/dissolution rate of NaCl salt (the speed at which salt dissolves)? Any educated guesses or information on this would be much appreciated too!

I'm not sure but I wouldn't think that it would have much of an effect on dissolution rate. pH is only the H+ concentration so doesn't really affect the inter-molecular bonding which is the basis of dissolution.

No, pH does not affect the solubility of any salt except "the solubility of ferrous hydroxide and the composition of its soluble components depends on pH".

Excluding the above example, the only two things that affect how fast something with dissolve is its solubility and the surface area.
