Hello everybody. We just received our UAC guides like last week and I was looking at the ATAR needed for the degrees I was interested in.
So I was thinking of doing a double degree but now I'm like ....

I want to study Accounting and Law (that mostly deals with Business)... Straight to the point these are preferences as following:

1. Macquarie University - 81.95 Bachelor of Business and Commerce - Majors in Accounting
2. UTS - N/A Bachelor of Accounting
3. UWS - 92 Bachelor of Business and Commerce/Bachelor of Law

Do you think my preferences are realistic, keeping my current ranks in mind (my signature ) ?

If you live in the Western Sydney area, you're eligible for 5 points. 5 extra on top of that if you get a band five or six in practically anything. Depends on your school rank, but you can most likely get 82 even though I'm no expert in these things.

I think with a 92 atar, you can probably do business/law at UTS as if you put them as first preference and you're from western sydney, you get up to 10 bonus points haha.

From your above preferences, even if you got say 95, you would only receive an offer for Macquarie University. You would not receive an offer from UTS or UWS. So essentially, you want to put the course you want most as first preference, so if you want to do Accounting/Law at where ever, you should put that first, then back up courses.

The first round finished by the time I got to know, but 2nd rounds, hopefully something happens :-/

yes, most subjects would be the same

advanced has compulsory honours

You don't have to be enrolled in an advanced degree to take advanced subjects. And if you meet the requirements for the advanced degree you graduate with BSc (Advanced). That is for USyd idk about UNSW.
