I was going to say something like this.

But then I thought

These Muslims probably do think hitler was actually good.

"lol"

noooooo

Islam is a religion of peace

And religious tolerance

Just only if you're a strict Muslim.

Well from another perspective, Hitler revolutionised Germany, taking his country from a state where its people were starving to death on its streets , to a economically strong nation, to the point where many feared Germany's growing power. How long did it take him?- Less than three years. Has there ever been a leader so successful as him?

^ Thankfully Christians over time learnt to not take such passages literally.

Unfortunately many muslims still treat the equivalent passages in the Quran as literal commands from allah to be acted upon. And act upon them they do. For this world's sake I do hope Islam evolves one day.

I'd also make the observation that there is no such thing as a right to not be offended. Nor should there be.

If you are offended you confront the issue with peaceful debate or learn to ignore what you take offence to. You have no right to expect others to censor their beliefs. This is imposing your views on them. How would you feel if the situation was reversed?

Nobody is forcing anybody to watch the video in question. If you would find it offensive then you don't watch it. Simple.

I'm not arguing for the protest, infact i strongly condemn the actions of those who participated in the protest. I realise there was no point to it, but if people attack my religion( on this forum thats), i surely will see as my duty to defend it.

Though you have not directly suggested so,what makes you feel that Christianity is the "true" religion.

That's completely unrelated. Nothing he said would suggest what you're implying.

"Unfortunately many muslims still treat the equivalent passages in the Quran as literal commands from allah to be acted upon. And act upon them they do. For this world's sake I do hope Islam evolves one day'. Isn't that being very critical of islam.

The fact that his criticising Islam does imply that he feels that his own religion is superior to Islam.

That doesn't mean we have to believe in Christianity. It's just commenting of the nature of how they're perceived and the changes made throughout time.

Also, the fact that some one claims their religion is superior has no bearing on whether or not it's actually true.

Andrew Bolt said:
THE problem isn’t us. It isn’t even some YouTube clip posted by a filmmaker no one has heard of.

No, the problem is them.

Islamists. Extremists desperate to take offence. Bigots who use violence to frighten us into giving up our free speech.

I mean not just the people setting the Middle East ablaze, but the hundreds of Muslims who in Sydney on Saturday staged a violent riot, allegedly over a video that insults Islam.

Enough.
Bolt is correct, again.

The most craven and irresponsible response so far from a politician:

Communications Minister Stephen Conroy has called for YouTube to consider taking down a video that ridicules the Prophet Mohammed which sparked a violent protest in Sydney yesterday.

Naturally, it’s from the Minister now considering yet more laws to restrict free speech and jail journalists.

Perhaps jihadists could simply send Conroy a full lists of books, pictures, videos and newspaper articles he can ban on their behalf.
This guy seriously needs to run for government.

Well if that's the case, lets have a look at what Christianity preaches.

http://www.answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/honor_killing_in_bible.htm
I know the bible is filled with murder, genocide, slaughter, violence and war. But modern Christianity not perceived as that. It's mostly marketing and PR, but also an evolution, as Christianity has had longer to evolve, and tries to capture the zeitgeist.

I think they're both wrong, but Christianity is currently portrayed as less violent. I'm not saying it inherently is in the text, but that's not what's being discussed.

Wow "6 people". What about the thousands of civilians that have lost their lives, at the hands of drone attacks in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In the name of humanity i ask, is it not true that "thousands of lives" is far more precious than "6". Yet these thousands get no more than a line in the news, whilst we spend all our time, effort and attention on six lives. How blinded can you be?

Fair enough, you believe both are wrong but Christianity to a lesser extent. You say Christianity is more acceptable because it has "evolved". Mate, if christiany is more "beleivable" the true religion would be the religion that hasn't had any changes. Why because religion came down from god. You ought to think the one who created you from nothing but a sperm would have absolute knowlege of the present, past and future and would be able to send down a perfect religion, that doesn't need to be "evolved" by the incapable mind of us beings.
