On my computer, somehow, an advertising bot/marco was installed.

Now, on all the sites I visit (including this one). I get advertisements.

Would simply reinstalling all my browsers fix this?

Yeah, I mean all it is going is causing side ads to appear, and words to have a hyperlink to advertising websites. I will contain it and deal with it later
