Better to do so, by writing down x rad.
Hmm... But isn't there also the other notation that goes something like...

That's also the symbol for radians. But be careful you don't miswrite it as ° for degrees.

By convention, an angle with no units is always assumed to be in radians given that you generally treat it as a real number.
