Good first two days, like most of my teachers.
Hopefully all goes well for the remainder of this year and next year!

The first week was great! I'm very happy with my teachers and classes. Like Kurosaki, I didn't get much homework either so that was good :)

good lol

My friend has nearly exact same timetable as I (except MX1 and Sport groups). She switched 2 of her subjects just to be in the same class as I was which is um yeah hahaha i didn't recommended it to her though but yeah. Besides that, i love my classes except the fact that i can't see anything on the board because I need glasses (have to copy my friends work) but i'm getting them tomorrow so ye all gee.

It was great! Finally studying the subjects you like instead of those compulsory subjects back in high school you didn't like.
Though strangely I haven't received any homework yet at all. All my friends seem to have though. lol

Good, only that I cannot drop Hospitality for Portuguese until 6 weeks have passed, so I'm stuck with 14 units until then..

Just thought I'd say hello. I start year 11 this Thursday and am sort of excited. I'm happy with my subjects but am just praying I get good teachers. I personally hardly got any homework in years 7-10 but I hear you get a a fair bit in year 11 so it'll get interesting to see if that's true.

I'm having a bit of trouble with working out how I am going to organise my work and handouts. I'm thinking of using OneNote on my laptop for all my subjects and then just putting handouts in a plastic folder for each subject. Everyone seems to be getting binders and books and I'm not sure if I should do this or not. What are you guys doing in terms of organization?

I can't be bothered bringing my laptop anymore because 1. We hardly use it at school, and if we do, it's for like small 10 minute research and 2. Games are easily accesible and this may refrain me from concentrating and doing my work. OneNote is good but at the end of the day it's not worth the extra weight in my bag.

Most of the people in my cohort use binders to put their books and worksheets in and personally I think that's the way to go.

+1. Plus my teachers hate the usage of laptops..although I have all my textbook pdfs on USB, so I use it anyways lol. I ceebs bringing the infinitely heavier multitude of textbooks

I have used one note for all my work for the past two years and quite frankly think it's silly to go backwards using books again. I think being able to search, edit and back up my work is a massive advantage and although I'd probably use paper to study and revise, having all my coursework neatly organised on my laptop will relieve stress and it takes up less room then a binder. I think it's just a case of trial and error to try and work out what works best for me.
Thanks for your advice guys!
