I was like "sorry for not being a genius". Still the programs that they have running for commerce are pretty interesting. If I can get the atar for comm at usyd deffs going there! if not hopefully bonus points can help me get into UNSW lol

Not for Commerce and Med is all I know other faculties may.

Yeah, UNSW comm has a very low atar considering they offer bonus points. I mean, if you do 4 unit maths and get band 5s in that and english you get more than the max bonus points (5), lowering the cut off for straight commerce to 92...

And i know what people will say, "ATAR cut offs are just supply and demand!!!!" While that's true, no ones gonna demand a shit course. But supply is still a factor obviously, but i dont know anything about how many do comm at each uni.


But comm (intl) doesn't count bonus points and that has a high cut off. Not sure what that is though, havent looked into UNSW tooo much.

USYD does have bonus points but they are much harder to get.

UNSW is very open about it and how many points it gives - USYD doesn't really say much and from what I can tell, it's a lot harder to get the bonuses.

Fair enough, I personally believe they should mention it so people actually bother to apply regardless they meet the atar cutoff.

i was invited to the TSP thing 'talented science program' or something
and it was legit 3 hrs of boredom
also when they said 'all you have to do to get in TSP is get 99.0 atar' i was like well, nothing to do here LOL

more excited to UNSW tbh haa
