Seriously? Wow, the reason why they're absolutely prohibited a my school is because a few years ago people did burnouts on the oval and wrecked the grass haha. Your ranks are insane by the way, you should enjoy awards day :)
Yes, something similar happened at my school too. When I was in yr 8, the yr 12's dug a giant penis on the back oval and the principal made them spend the rest of the day filling the holes back up. Its just a shame that the previous years ruined it for the rest of us :/
And thank you :) Had it today, it was the best feeling when they read my 1sts and 2nds out and people applauded, but I was nervous for a lot of the time because I was to do a performance on the piano. Other than the places, there were no other academic awards :( . My school is obsessed with sport, even though its not a sports high school. It took half an hour to hand out the 'merit' and special awards.

My school doesnt give a flying f**k about sports. If they actually invested some time in improving sports at the school, we would have a chance at winning comps

Most of the green space in our school is astroturf. Not even joking.

Guess who got Team Of The Year? bwahaha

If the year twelves at my school had even been seen on school grounds prior to their official assembly they would have been expelled = can't sit HSC, to prevent a muck up day (yes, they have actually done this to people before).
Wow. Now I feel thankful that we even get a muck up hour!

we have a decent facilities, it's just noone plans any training and the principal seems to give it a very low priority. i mean it is fair enough, since we are mainly academic and musical.

My school is a music/performing arts school, however sport is catching up.

On my school's 'merit points' system it rewards 6 pts for 1 year of band but I think 1 pt for getting into CIS (which I think is the equivalent of Sydney region sports, I have no idea what it is).

We've converted two classrooms into drama rooms

However at assemblies all the sports scores are read out (taking freaking ages) and there's been a new gym.

(Marketing my school right here. Sorry Oblivious)

Don't come to my school, its the school with no grass, so its fairly easy to identify. Despite being a co-ed school, nothing much happens internally.
Damn should have gotten into nsb.

Big enough to.... do not much really.

Nothing much happens internally? Well, there's enough for a person who doesn't have Facebook.
