so my friend graduated from usyd with a degree from bcom major in marketing and needs to find a job asap. any1 here work in marketing or are there any marketing companies keen on hiring uni leavers?

What's his background. Has he done extra-curricular marketing projects? Internship? Volunteer Marketing?

He basically just needs to apply for anything that comes along, but if he hasn't done any of the above, then that's what he should be working on.

she* worked for a marketing company in bondi for a few months (during university for experience) , and also participated in those flyer vending things/organisational.

Basically she just needs to keep searching. On Seek, search by:

Classification -> Marketing & Communications

It can help she can narrow down what area of marketing or what industry she wants to work in. Then just perfect that resume, focusing on metric achievements and practical skills.

And don't expect anything in under 6 months, it can easily take that long.

And just keep doing marketing stuff. I was working on about 4 marketing projects post-uni before I actually got employment in the field.
